I have put a set on with tubliss inserts. I balanced them with the set screw on wheel weight (4-1oz/wheel). Just finished 2k miles I them including 1600 miles in Mexico. They were flawless. Used them on and off pavement. I ended up adding RideOn sealant after experiencing slow leaks after install. They now hold air and with the balancing the mirrors actually are useable at 70mph!
I am currently set up in adventure riding mode. I'll be trying to wear these out by summer when I get back into 90/10 dirt riding mode for Colorado this summer. I think I'll try a MT43 on the rear then, not sure about the front.
The Mefo Explorers are definitely a worthwhile choice for a 50/50 set up!
