Manual fan switch
« on: August 14, 2014, 09:30:39 am »
Hi all,

I had a manual fan switch wired on the last bike. It was nice to be able to turn it on *before* the bike got hot (traffic, tight trails), especially since the thermoswitch on the 690 seems to turn on too hot anyway.

Anyone know anything about this one?

I like the OEM plugs and the reverse-ability, but am a little hesitant on ordering anything outside of USA on eBay.

Thanks,
Nic

Nevermind...

The fan is just  a ground switch, so I ended up using a HDB switch and mount and soldering it into the fan plug. Works like a charm!
