Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy and the bike has had to collect some dust the last month or so. However, I'm going out to Anza Borrego next weekend to finally get a long ride in.

On the short, errand running rides that I've done recently, it's only slightly harder to shift still and I would say the shift action is "more firm" vs "harder" as the movement feels more precise with less slop (not that there was much) and no new false neutrals to report.

I'll report back next week after I get some extended time in the dirt.
