Guardian Weatherall Plus - bike cover
« on: July 14, 2015, 07:14:32 am »
I would like to give a shout out to Dowco, Inc and their customer service.
If you need a bike cover, I highly recommend their 'Guardian Weatherall Plus' bike cover - Sport bike size  50124-00.   Yes they can be a little expensive, but deals can be found online.   https://dowcopowersports.com/guardian-weatherall-plus-motorcycle-cover/
A friend has a cheaper cover that he has to replace every year or 2!

Why do I recommend this company and cover?  I have had one of their covers for over 6 years now, if not longer - used 'almost' everyday.  It is water resistant/proof and fit my DRZ400, and now the 690, perfectly.  It finally ripped at the seams 3 weeks ago.   I filled out their online claim form, paid the $10 processing fee, cut out the defective section and sent it to Dowco....   2 weeks later......  replacement cover shows up.  Got to love lifetime warranties.

I have the Doubletake mirrors that I fold down when using the cover.  The skirt bottom is elastic and has a strap in the middle to secure it underneath (you can see it right near the kickstand)
Sad that I have to park the bike outside :-(
