« on: April 11, 2014, 01:20:32 pm »
whats mike up to trying to lighten that skidplate?

no just making some handy spots to put the endurostar products trail stand,
roofing shingle is there because i just oiled the chain while up on the stand.

been thinking about those flats on the trail so bought one of these endurostar rail stand

oh ya can lift up the front wheel too

all in all pretty easy to use, comes with a velcro stap to hold front brake on when lifting rear

Those stands are $$ (nice, but $$)   I made one out of old crutches from goodwill store = $5.  Not as pretty that's for sure.  http://www.klrforum.com/showthread.php?t=10045

What skid plate are you using by the way (and do you like it)?   I like how it has a little lip on it.

Nice looking job on the jack stand! The skid plate is the standard KTM parts catalog they gave me $500 Ktm dollars for accessories if I bought the bike by the end of the year. So I got a bunch of goodies.
