What's available for bar risers? I would like to raise my bars an inch or so. Will the stock cables accommodate this?

ROX risers are pretty darn nice and they only cost ~$85. The bonus is that you can change the fore/aft location of where they are positioned.

The Touratec Risers Suck, they don't allow any adjustment, and you are likely to rub through some wires if your not careful.

If you're willing to spend a little more dough, RBOTT at ADV makes a Riser Mount for 690 Enduro.

You can go as high as one inch without dealing with cable play issues. You can go up to 2" if you're willing to reroute and zip tie the cables under the tank for more play. Any higher than that, you'll need longer cables.

Hi Altaboy, fancy meeting you here.
Say if you are thinking of machining some nice 2 inch spacers like you did for the 800 I am in for a set.

Can anyone else confirm that 2" risers will fit with out issue? I read a review on revzilla that stated the 2" risers stretched the cables to the max, uncomfortably so. But not sure if he had rerouted anything.
Thanks!
