The Honda Africa Twin is back?

Well maybe...

It is a cool bike (not as cool as the 690 mind you) and indications are that it may be back in production soon.

Somehow the author totally missed the 690, so I had to let them know about that.

It's cool that Honda is considering something other than an "urban commuter," but I think they're missing the boat; they should be shooting for 330 lbs, not 430.  As it is, it has nothing to distinguish itself and will have to live on the scraps from a three way dogfight between the KLR and the 800 GS.

A 330 pound adventure machine would be a world beating revelation.

The sad thing is that Honda already makes what folks want:



Just de-tune this thing and call it a day.

My one staying request: They should add twin LED headlights, as a homage to the original.
