Fuzz problems
« on: April 27, 2014, 01:08:45 pm »
Man o man, I keep getting pulled over like nobody's business.  Mostly my fault cuz I forgot to recalibrate my speedo after switching back out to my enduro setup. Ooops.  :P

Cop was cool. Let me off with a warning cuz I actually had a motorcycle license, unlike most people he pulls over in the VA Beach area.

I thought I would continue the 690 selfie theme. Broke a bone in my foot trail riding on the 690 today. I am at the Immediate Care center waiting for my x-rays to be read.

Dang, sorry to hear it.  What'd you do?  I've been tempted to get some protective footwear.  Would more protective boots have saved the day?

Thanks. I clipped a rock going down a small hill. I managed to break one of my sesamoid bones. It happened so fast that I am not sure where I hit the rock, I didn't even go down. I had pretty good MX boots on,  Alpinstar Tech 3's, so it I guess it might have been worse if I had my dual sport boots on (Forma Adventures).

Sesamoid eh? Sounds like you'll be wearing a spaceboot!
