Welcome to the forum. I'm also from the upstate, I just picked up my 690 enduro in Asheville last week. Formerly rode a DRZ which I still think is a great bike, but it can't touch the 690.

Nice OrangeCrush! DR are good bikes, My cousin and riding partner has one.  Though he has ridden my 690 and now he wants one (or the Husqvarna 701.... Foothills poweesports in Powdersville has a 701 (the white 690) ;-)

I have been doing a little riding in the hills between Greenville and Asheville.  Searching around online and on the road for some good off road riding routes.  Let me know if you make any good discoveries or have any suggestions.

Cheers
