Ok buddys - maybe a long read but i got some questions

first of all hello and excuse my bad english. i hope u guys can help me - and in the case you can - please answer in easy english haha


im going to buy my first 690. i got now 8k euro but dont want to spend all. so i got a few questions to ask and i really really hope u guys can answer me some of them


1. i want to buy a enduro 690 (first on the road 04/2011) including akrapowich exhaust and the original. one back plastic part (dont know how to discribe) and LED blinkers. the tires got arround 60% .. all at all 8500 km and the seller wants 6.3-6.5 k.. first question ! is that ok? i mean i want to drive it arround 1-2 years then sell it propably and get a new one.. qhat do you think about that price??? is the 2011 a good one or is it to old? whats the most important thing i need to know about it???

2. i need fully new prtection. well we got an enduro area here and i want to become a member. so i need protection. i also can drive a wheeli with a bicycle and want to learn it with that bike to. please dont judge me or say thats stupid. i m really carefull so the question is more about what exactly what u say i need to buy for doing quiete nice action.. so a helmet gloves .. do u think i need boots and rotectors too??

what would you do to get startet best with that 8 k?? i wanted to buy that bike next week and spend arround 1 k for protection...

so please guys let me know what you think!

Since you're a new rider to dirt bikes, you will drop the bike, probably many, many times.    So, you'll want to protect both the bike and yourself.    For yourself, you'll want a helmet, boots, gloves, knee and shin guards, elbow and shoulder protectors.   For the bike, you'll want a skid plate, radiator guard and bark-busters to protect your levers (and your hands).    Since I live in the US I have no idea what the prices would be in Europe.
