Hey Colorado,

Make sure you change your permissions (on Facebook) so other folks can view the link.

I've tried changing the share type to 'public', but I'm not sure if it is going to work or not; I may need to find some other type of image repository.

Yeah, I don't like using Facebook to store photos.  Personally, I find Picasa easy to use because it links to my gmail account.

I think I've got the picture thing; anyway it works in preview!

Yup, your pictures came through great.  I'd love to ride that road.  Cool cave.

Hey all,

Here's Lorna all kitted up and ready for a fly fishing trip.  I began my day in Kennebunkport (that's George H.W. Bush's home in the background, "Walker's Point").

I rode 250 miles today out to the White Mountain's National Forest (in New Hampshire).  It rained ALL day.  I didn't mind; I have good rain gear and a warm coat, so the rain did nothing but lend the mountains a bit more drama.  It did not, however, bode well for my fly fishing.

I have yet to verify the existence of fish in New Hampshire.

So here's another picture of my loadout instead:

And another:

You may be wondering how this load affected the bike's handling.  The answer: a lot, but it's still better than an unloaded GS. ;D
That's a 2 gallon Rotopax under the Wolfman Expedition bags.  I was really bummed when Wolfman stopped making their own racks.  Now, I'm glad they stopped.  Their new "universal" straps are easier to use than their old system.  And the Touratech racks are higher quality than the ones Wolfman subcontracted out for.

On the (excellent) Nomadic top rack, I have a dry bag stuffed with my tent and down sleeping bag.  It's bulky but light.

I definitely felt the weight of the Rotopax.  I should have overpacked the left saddlebag heavier to compensate.

Also, notice how upright the bike sits!  I need to chop that kickstand before the wind knocks me over.

I'm overloaded for a 1-night fishing trip, but I wanted to know how the bike handled a TAT-sized loadout.  I'm happy to report that she did VERY well with the full monty.

I finally have a pic worthy of this thread.  It's from my trip this past weekend and is a teaser to my trip report that I will post later.
