I wish you could set it for fast and mud. I'd buy it now n a heart beet. I have no use for standard. Although I just leave it in mud all the time now. Changing it sucks.

I've been using an air hawk since Oct and never had to much of an issue with it but I ride mostly off road and standing up. With that said I am going to do the UBCDR in early Sept. With some friends. I thought that doing that many days in a row on the 690 standing up might be rough so I bucked up and bought a seat concepts tall " I'm 6'6". " today I set out to just ride street and gravel roads. We did 325 miles and that seat is awesome. I am not a bit sore. I can't believe I waited this long to get this thing. I would highly recommend it for anyone who sits for more than 15 minutes at a time.

looks like I’m going to have 4 690’s in my trailer headed down. We’re leaving Thursday afternoon only 7 days away. I can’t wait. Anyone else going?

That's cool. Congrats. The blind thing sounds pretty cool too. I may have to look and see if there's one around here.

just had the dealership put my new tubliss and new rear tire on. I wanted to watch someone with experience put it on so I knew what I was in for next time. It didn’t look bad, lots of tire lube is the key. [imghttp://Untitled by johnandnorasuter, on Flickr[/img]

I have the Contour +2. My only complaint about it is the battery life. I get about 4 hours out of it. A friend just got the Garmin "one with out the gps”. The battery lasts twice as long. As far as video quality he’s only uploaded one video and I thought it was about the same quality, but I’m not filming on the highest quality because the battery dies even quicker. I also don’t use the GPS thats on it because that helps drain the battery too.

Not sure how long it's been since you've been to St. Joes but there is no more single track unless you consider trails wide enough for sided by sides singal track. That and the amount of them and 4 wheelers running around in any direction makes it a little less fun. We rode all day and exempt for when we hit the pavement to get lunch and gas we never saw another soul. If you ever come back and want to ride hot me up.

It was such a nice day yesterday and a fellow 690 ride and I both had off. We had to take advantage of it. it amazes me that I only did 107 miles and had more fun than when I used to do 500 miles of twists on the sport bikes. the more and more I get to ride this thing the more I love it.

Thanks Guymcfly. I've been doing a lot of thinking on if I want to try these and I think you've sold me. I'm doing the Utah back country discovery in September and think these would be nice for that. I think I'll still carry a set of tubes with me just in case though.
