690 Discussion / Rear wheel spacers-interference fit?

Anyone else had this problem? I took my rear wheel off and the left wheel spacer was jammed in the hub.
Took an hour to pry it out and in the process I destroyed the dust shield covering the bearing.
The spacer is surprisingly undamaged. Ive just got some tool marks on the flange that I filed out.
The spacer won't fit back in on either of the 2 carriers I have. I had to file down the part that slides into the
bearing before I could slide it back in. The right hand spacer fits in both sides as it should so I know
its not the bearing. What a royal pain.
