Off Topic / Re: Obnoxious Dogs
« on: January 26, 2017, 07:09:25 am »
More than annoyed, reached the end of my rope!

Sounds like you have approached the neighbor(s) already. If civil and open communication doesn't produce the peace and quiet we all deserve from our neighbors then hit them in the wallet. My neighborhood has a team of community service officers that will ticket homeowners if they witness/hear a dog barking and no one is home. If someone is home they will tell the dog owner that persistent barking can bring a fine. If your neighbors can't respect your peace and quiet see how much money they have before they start respecting it. I hope you have something like this to apply.

Oh, and enjoy your next 690 rip!

I went with the Rade Garage pegs. I chose them mostly because of the lowered characteristic. They are certainly larger than the stock pegs but I actually think they could be a little larger. Who knows, I may think they were kind of out-riggerish then and find them too big. Wacky, I know. If I could rewind time I would not go with the orange pair, it does not match the KTM orange. Anyhow, happy with the purchase.

690 Discussion / Re: Insurance !

I do not know the average but I can tell you I am paying $288.00 per year for my 2015. With that # we must keep in mind that a quote can vary somewhat sizably from one insured and one insurance provider to the next. There are lots of insurance providers out there, keep shopping until you are confident you found the best deal for you. Tell the next one shopped, here is what I was quoted from these guys, can you beat it.

Got it. And I see you are now Alabama Adventurer. Looks like our day of rippin went from maybe Rampart to now something in the deep south. Will certainly throw you a heads up if I am in/around Huntsville. Go twist it!

Colorado Rider,

In an attempt to expand on the "local" riding network, I ask, where are you located?  I am in Windsor. Nearby?

Anxious for the next 690 Rippin!

Sweet Mods and Accessories / Re: Tubliss system

I totally support your actions on going with the Tubliss. I mean, if its trouble free and it allows you to do a tire repair/plug as opposed to the removal/replacement of the tube, why the hell not!?  I think the difference between those two scenarios when managing a flat is night and day.  I have not yet gone for it but I am certainly interested in doing the system.  Please voice the good and bad from going Tubliss. Ride On!

Dang it! Definitely been awhile. How things change. Anyhow, love it that you had the woods to yourself. If I swing through I will most certainly look you up.

Fun Video. A great choice of day off activity. As a past resident of St. Louis I must mention the St. Joe riding area. Sorry if this is old news. Heck, might be where your vid is from. Anyhow, if you haven't, check it out. I had many of quality rides there.
