re: Wings Exhaust.

Yes - very happy with it as it exceeded all expecations.  Akrapovic quality (Titanium/Carbon fiber) at over half the cost.  Nice and light and great sound.

Just contact Gorazd Marovic directly at mf@siol.net
Should be about $430 shipped to you in the US.
It shipped from Slovenia and I got mine in 2 days.

Mine broke too - discovered it when installing the Kouba link.  Got a replacement and self installed.

Sweet Mods and Accessories / ZipTy peg extenders
« on: August 25, 2014, 01:23:55 pm »
I first saw the ZipTy peg extenders at the Touratech Rally this summer and thought - "that's brilliant".  Some have described these as standing on ping-pong paddles, but I will say they offer a great platform with excellent grip.  By getting further outbound you can really get a "power steering" effect by weighting the inside when turning and using the throttle to swing the back around.

Priced at ~$86, this option was also the cheapest of all except for true weld-on DIY.

Installation:  These are attached to your stock pegs with stainless nylocks and bolts.  You align the extensions and mark the holes to be drilled out.  Drill out the holes with a supplied drill bit and use the screws to fix the extension to your peg.  I have a drill press so that made the drilling MUCH easier.

Sweet Mods and Accessories / Re: Tubliss system

I've been considering this set up, but Tubliss says "for offroad use only".  Have you used yours on road?  At speed?

Thanks!

Took delivery of my '14 KTM 690 Enduro R two weeks ago and have been busy with putting things on and taking things off.

The photo above was during it's first maiden ride in the dirt.  Wings exhaust, flatland racing plate, Kouba 1" lower link, Enduristan tank bag, ZipTy peg extenders & CJ Designs fuel filler.  More stuff on the way. :)
