Ride Announcements / HARR is doing Arkansas end of March 2015

"HARR"...(Houston Area "690R" Riders)........
Cabin fever has gotten to us. We need to get the bikes out of the garages, our gear out of the closets, trucks gassed up and headed up to Arkansas......The HARR group is planning an early spring weekend ride in Arkansas.....March 27,28,29,30....Riding Mill Creek, Frog Bayou, Mulberry Mtn areas......Trailering up from Houston on Friday, riding a good two days and heading home on Monday.....
All are welcome.......Post up if You'd like to Ride.........or, go back to that easy chair and watch the snow still coming down..........PS: "Just a little Dig"..."Ain't Winters down here in the South......NICE"...... :P :P

Mr. Pat K....a new member in Katy TX,.... just brought home from the maternity ward of Wild West KTM, a 305lb baby boy....2015 690R

Big Bend in the Fall......What can I say

This trip came about due to the Arctic freeze that gripped the country, mid Nov. We were scheduled to explore the Arkansas back woods.....Not happening ( 25* sleet n icy rain )....One of the group ( Dane ) suggested, well since we had the time off, lets head as far south as the Border Patrol will allow us.....The "Polar Vortex" just missed the edge of the Big-Bend parks....Giving us "PERFECT" weather.....

Wolfman has a new tank bag for 2014....."Blackhawk".....The Enduro bag was too small and the map holder was a Joke....Wolfman listened and came out with a bag that is the perfect size for the 690....

Introductions / A new 2014 690 in Katy TX

What a bike this is.......

Had a plan, I decided to be a "Match Maker"...I introduced and left Two of my bikes alone in the garage one night, one thing led to another and they had a Healthy 300lb Son.....The Parents are: ( 04' KLR 650 + 03' 2 stroke KX500)....The new Katoom is almost as comfortable as the KLR, and by George, almost as powerful as the fire breathing KX500.......The "Best of Both Worlds"
.
Now I'm in the process of dusting off and selling the Parents.....Hadn't rode either one, in quite awhile......
