MT21 up front and MotoZ mountain Hybrid on back. There’s 7-8 of us running that set up now. We averaged 800-1000 miles out of the MT21 rear and are getting close to 3,000 out of the MotoZ. We ride mostly tight 2 track with some single track throughn in. They clean very well in MO mud/clay. I also run the Tubliss system and love it.

Anyone from here going? It sounds like we’re going to have 7 690’s from the St. Louis area going. I’ve been the last 2 years and it’s a blast.http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/slap-2016-may-20-22-byrds-adventure-center-in-ozark-ar.1115760/

If you want to have it on your smart phone there’s an app called KTM assistant. you can build a garage with all your KTM’s and keep track of service intervals. It’s a pretty cool app.

Don’t buy the R&G tidy tail. First time off road I destroyed it. http://www.accessoryinternational.com/product/r-g-femder-eliminator-ktm-690-enduro.html

Since Adventure must have forgotten all about his post here I will fill you in a little. We went riding yesterday and were talking about it. He loves it and can tell a difference. He’s not quite it that amount of money difference but with a couple more rides and tweaking it a little he think it will be. Following him through some rough 2 trak and a variety of hard pack and loose gravel roads I could see a difference in how he rides.

Story-Time / UTBDR
« on: November 22, 2015, 09:02:03 am »
A bunch of us did the Utah BDR in early Sept. I finally have edited all my video and uploaded all my pics. What an awesome trip. This was my first time riding for more than a weekend trip and what a beautiful place to do it. 7 days and 1200 miles. we made it to the Wyoming boarder but time didn’t allow us to see the Idaho border. WORK SUCKS. I can’t wait to tackle another BDR next year.

I bought the Dually kit from Motominded a few months ago. Man is that thing bright. I did the Utah back country discovery route and was glad I had it. We got fought out late a couple days. It seems well done when installing it and was probably the easiest up grade I’ve done to the beast.

I think the biggest reason they won't recommend it is because they don't want the liability of street use. Can't say I blame them.

I haven't been riding much since April when I put this in. I finally wore the tire out. I am a curious kind a fella so I decider to cut a hole in the tire to see how well the system works on the wider 690 tires. I have to say it works just like advertised for the smaller dirt bike tires. I took a pic but can't get it to post on my phone. I'll get it posted up tomorrow.

Funny you should ask. I just did 325 miles Sunday with no issues. I will have another ride this weekend that will finish off this tire. I am planning on cutting a hole in the tire so I can see how the beed lock works on our wider tires. I've been afraid to go less than 18psi.
