Just picked up my 2014 ktm 690 two nights ago so i figured I would show it off.
I raced motocross for 10 years then went to street bikes. I just sold my cbr 1000rr and figured it was time to get something different.
So I picked up this bad boy.
I just ordered a fmf carbon apex and a k&n filter last night.
These things are sweet, they have an adjustable tune under the seat by the battery. The abs is nice on the road when its wet, but its cool becuase you can turn it off too.
This is def going to be a fun bike. I will keep yall updated

Sweet bike fuzzy!
I bought mine last week, but due to some issues I'm bringing it home today. It's 32f and raining here, but at least it'll be safe and sound in my garage.

After waiting since January 8th for my belated birthday gift from the wifey, I just picked up my 2014 690 Enduro. I've had two short rides on it and love it. Previously rode a KTM 525 EXC, but wanted to broaden my horizon on a more 50 % dirt, 50% street set up. This bike does it for sure. 47 mpg with just under 300 miles. How's everyone else doing on mileage with the newer model?

I'm getting between 45-50 mpg average.

I get any where from 40 to 60 depending on how I ride.

Best I have so far is 50.8. I just installed a wings exhaust pipe and will see how that affects mileage if any. After my break in period, I wonder if it will get better or worse.

hi everyone! new to the forum and to a 690. absolutely love the new bike!
54.5 mpg with less than 200 miles on my new 690. breakin' it in gently!

I suspect the mileage will very greatly depending on altitude. I did 300mi in northern nevada with my granddaughter over Labor Day. She was on her CFR250L. The lowest section we did was over 5000ft. She got better then 90mpg and my 2013 690 got 67mpg. At home I get about 52mpg. chip
