Title: Ohlins On The Way
Post by: Adventure711 on November 13, 2015, 09:27:00 pm
2014 690 and just ordered full drop in units and rear shock.

Typical riding woods with single track, two track, forest roads and everything else in between.

I'll post post in  a few weeks whether this is a complete waste or pretty amazing. :)

I'm pretty sure there getting installed this week. If they do I know he'll be out trying them for sure.

Since Adventure must have forgotten all about his post here I will fill you in a little. We went riding yesterday and were talking about it. He loves it and can tell a difference. He’s not quite it that amount of money difference but with a couple more rides and tweaking it a little he think it will be. Following him through some rough 2 trak and a variety of hard pack and loose gravel roads I could see a difference in how he rides.

Thanks for the update!

I've adjusted the clickers and feel pretty good on the bike most of the time. However, when the speed ticks up in the desert I'm thinking the Ohlins and a fork revalve by a good shop will be worth the $$$. So your info just adds fuel to the upgrade demon. xD
