Title: Xion protective gear...Body armour for long (or short) rides
Post by: Guymcfly on April 30, 2014, 06:32:38 am
I have nothing whatsoever to do with this company.

A few years back I suffered major spinal injury while racing in a long distance, off-road navigation rallye. I endo'd my bike at 147 Kms per hour. Ouch!

It threatened to end my riding (and my snowboarding) completely.

During the recovery phase I was put onto this stuff by my neurosurgeon (who is also a keen rider). He mentioned it is extremely good protection, and also very comfortable to wear due too it's flexibility.

Check it out...very nice for a long day on the bike. Or even a short ride for that matter!
