I'm looking at the GPS again.  The Monterra review seem to be expensive and terrible.  The Montana appears to be the most mature developed Garmin product.  I did see this neat Android application called OruxMaps http://www.oruxmaps.com/index_en.html.  It is free and showed the trails that I ride on by name!  Impressive!  Now the not so great - it doesn't navigate.  It knows where you are and can cache the data you need when you are connected, but won't tell you how to get there.  I guess it's okay if you know the area and just need your location.  Personally I don't like to have one system for everything on something this critical.  Also not useful for riding on the road.  Rusty how did the Montana hold-up this year?
