Has anyone had success using one of the photographic film or premade fork seal cleaners to stop a seal leak?

I have had it work more times than it didn't. What have you got to lose?

It worked good on my granddaughter's CRF250l. Make sure the fork has plenty of oil in it. When you slip the tool past the seal oil will flow out and help flush out the dirt. Then recheck your oil level. chip
