Draining coolant on 2014 690 Enduro R

Newbie question here: If I drain the coolant, will that automatically drain the overflow tank? I think so, but hard to see it. I know I have to refill both.
Thanks!

Found the answer. Got to suck it out a little. Finally found a use for that siphon pump I bought at Harbor Freight! Sucks to realize though that you forgot to put on the new thermostat until AFTER you just flushed it twice and THEN refilled in with that premium Engine Ice! Live and learn!! Refreshing to work on a bike that is NOT fully faired for a change though!! And a pretty decent users manual!
