clutch cover threads stripped out
« on: September 10, 2016, 10:37:55 pm »
Hello everyone,   I was putting my clutch cover back on and stripped out the case threads.  The came back out with the bolt.  Anyone have a fix for this?  Please help, thanks, ed

Here you go.  http://www.timesert.com

Edit: You should probably replace your torque wrench or use one if you weren't.

I love the Timeserts.  Much stronger than the Heli-coil.  The installation is slightly more involved and a little more expensive, but once done, you'll never have to worry about the repair coming undone.
