I'm not sure about the technical blah blah of EFI but from what I have read & from my own experience as long as you only replace your "nuclear reactor" exhaust with another "cooler" one be it the entire header or simply a slip on all you'll need to do is start your bike up barn fresh or from sitting over night cold AFTER installing your new exhaust & let it idle for 15 minutes. The EFI should adjust itself. Of course depending on what brand you go with you may be able to use an Akropovic map (most ktm dealers should have them) and re-map your EFI that way. Personally I have a WINGS slip on and it runs fine. The only tome she's a little fussy is at idle on cold starts, once warm she purrs like a kitten. I've heard you can self adjust like this with LeoVance pipes too. Hope this helps
