Evo1 airbox mod

I just fitted the Evo1 air box lid, she's got the uni filter already and a Wings silencer.
I found the induction noise under acceleration to be headache inducing, seriously annoying so Im going to put the stock intake cover back on.

Anyone else find the noise not worth the performance gain?

Yes, I was surprised how loud it is even with an aftermarket muffler the noise is intrusive.

The cover is part of a race/offroad package that used together might make sense but as a 50/50 dualsport it's not for me.

I also put on the evo 1 lid. I couldn't believe how noisy the intake was ....I could barely hear the exhaust. I went back o the stock lid.
