Hey ProSlider,

When I removed the canister and other smog paraphernalia, I used this guide from user Barton from ADV:

Also, did a quick Google and here's a vid that wasn't up when I did the removal to mine.



Lastly, I bought my R in Sept. of '14 and removed the smog stuff within the first two months (can't remember when, just know it was off by Dec). Haven't had any issues. I put the block plate on the top of the cylinder, kept the crankcase breather running to the collector box on the left side of the bike and plugged the inlet on the airbox. Everything else was removed and capped. I ended up just making my resistor to stop the FI light from flashing from Barton's guide that I posted above, easy peasy.
