Coolest MotoBoot Ever?

(1/1)

Rusty Shovel:
I don't own a pair, but I might soon.

The Icon 1000 Elsinore Boot.  If you have to ride through the wasteland to the Thunderdome, accept no substitute.  8)

They're not waterproof, that's the only downside I see.  Also, they're not a full-on modern motocross boot either, but they're a lot more protective than the hiking boots I currently ride in.

Alabama Adventurer:
I have the black type of these.  They look post apocalyptically cool, but like a lot of boots make it kind of hard to shift.  Maybe if I moved the lever up, or maybe once they are more worn-in it would be better.

Guymcfly:
Not unlike the motox boots I wore in the 70's when I was a kid...not as much steel protection.

That being said, I started using Sidi cross fires back in 2006... A hinged heal makes a very comfortable boot, and a more pointed toe (about the only way I can describe it), as opposed to the round toe, is a lot easier for shifting I find.

Each to there own of course, and Icon does make very good stuff I think...

renogeorge:
Cool looking.  But 8 weeks in a cast a few times over the years will focus you a little more on protecion.....
