I'll toss in a vote for the Skid plate from Flatlands Racing.

It has taken a beating and is easy to remove for working on the bike. I'll second the vote for the side case covers from adventure spec though.

Welcome to the club, and you are correct in your observation. This bike doesn't get much press but they're hard to find and the good parts go fast or are XX weeks from delivery.
