690 people like nice seats
« on: February 11, 2014, 05:00:50 pm »
I like many have upgraded my ktm690r seat, but I was concerned about how fast and easy it is to remove.
So I came up with these handy seat locks, made from high strength spring steel and then dipped in rubber to prevent chaffing. They attach to the underside of the fuel cap and utilize the locking cap. Making it impossible to lift or slide seat rearward. Plus you can lock some things under the seat, like that Starbucks gift card  ;D

Very clever idea, any idea if they work with other aftermarket seats like corbin, tourtech, & others? I see that seat concepts is a go  :P how do you like that seat BTW?

Endo, I've used the locks on the stock seat, the power sports seat and the seat concept seat, it should fit any seat . I do like the seat concepts, especially when doing distance, you can hop back on the seat to the wider area and it's comfortable. The only negative is that it acts like Velcro to my bike pants and it's hard to slide front and back quickly.
