ACC 1&2

Hey all,

Before I open the headlight up, I'd like to make sure I have the parts I need to connect to ACC 1&2.  Does anyone know what size/type connector I'll need?

On my bike, I used 1/4 inch spade connectors.

╬ve just found these two connector while unlocking the speedo.
Do you know if they are both switched ?
Can they be used for 2x16w leds ?

Yes they can.  ACC1 is always hot, ACC2 is switched.  Each is fused up to 10 ampsůso plenty of power there.  I plugged my GPS mount to ACC1 and my MondoLights and USB charger to ACC2.  It's a pretty cool feature on the 690.

Not very good with electrical stuff.  Just got a 2015 Enduro R and looking hook my gps up so it will always run off the motorcycle power.  ACC1 always hot....don't really understand difference between that and the ACC2 "switched".  Does ACC2 need a switch between accessory to turn on/off so it doesn't drain battery or what?  Will ACC1 drain battery or is it only charged when bike is running or ignition on?  Hope someone can explain it in simple terms for me.  Will be wanting to hook gps up with cig receptor and also want to hook up heated grips (tusk brand) for the winter and also some chargers for phone/cameras and other junk.  Thanks for any help.  Randy

ACC1 (fuse 8) is connected direct to the fuse terminal at the battery.  If the device connected to it is left on, it will drain the battery, so it needs a switch.  When you are doing the wiring, pull the fuse, so you do not short it out.

ACC2 (fuse 9) is off when the key is off.
