2014 690r DBW code 89

Got an intermittant diagnostic code 89. Drive by wire return spring stuck open. is this a throttle body issue ?
Anybody had a similar problem to point me in the right direction.

found that throttle butterfly was sticking just off idle.
removed cover and cleaned old grease from plastic gears & lubed with graphite powder.
so far so good.
