New Super moto wheel kit for our bike !
« on: April 03, 2014, 08:30:18 am »
Called the guy at Warp9 and they now make an affordable sumo wheel kit for 690

Complete with rotors custom colors 17x5" rear wheel option was just about 1100$ including taxes and shipping to Canada.
Very nice kit and that also seem to be very of good quality.

No they are tube type, but i think they are kits available to convert wire wheels for tubless.

$1100!  Is that WITH tires?  Is there a link, or do you have to call them direct for the deal?  I *will* be getting a supermoto setup this fall--Warp 9 just jumped to the front of the pack!

Been Waiting Couple Months For My Warp 9 Set Up. Purchased Threw Cycle House With Pilot Sports. Warp 9 Says Next Week They Will Be Ready. Waiting Because Of The 2014 Has Abs and Cush Drive Caryer. Estimate Was $1200 Mounted Balanced And Delivered. Will Update When I Get Them.

Has anybody found any tubeless options in a wire wheel, other than what KTM Twins offers?

I never got my warp 9 set up.  I had a bad weekend in the woods with a tube and since warp 9 took so long...  I ended up buying the tubeless kit from KTM twins.  I am happy with the set up it looks nice and is fun to ride on road.  Unfortunately, I see them hanging on the wall most of the time.  Around here I will get in way too much trouble having fun on the road.  I already have a street bike, So I favor the dirt set up for this machine.
BTW. I am quite mechanically inclined and it takes me at least an hour, probably more like 2, to properly remove, clean, lube and reassemble.
