The skid plate on my bike has an extension which covers the rear master cylinder. It is just a rectangular piece of aluminum. I don't know what brand it is because it isn't marked and came with the bike.

The extension piece looked like it was used in battle because it was ****. I took it to a guy down the street that advertised welding and he welded it back up for $20. So you could probably add something to the flatland to cover that area relatively inexpensively if you take it to a local welder.
