Kingrider,
I had that concern as I recall reading the various posts about the EVO kit that apparently makes a ton of intake noise. However, I now have three rides and a handful of quick test rides around the block for a total of just over 250 miles with the Rottweiler and I stand by my original observation.
The RW intake is quiet, possibly quieter, than the stock box until you get near wide open throttle. If you have it pinned and are ripping through the gears, you'll notice the intake but even at full tilt, it doesn't overpower the sound of the exhaust.
I was just thinking about the sound of the intake yesterday as I commuted on the bike and was able to take a 2-lane road through the local mountains to get there. If you're under 5k rpms, on basically flat ground, and just giving it enough juice to maintain your current speed, you can't even hear the intake.
This became apparent as I inadvertently surprised a couple of bicyclists that didn't hear me coming up behind and I startled them as I came by. After the second biker had a bit of a head shake moment when I went by, I decided to do a quick rev before I passed anymore peddlers.
I've only had to swap filter skins so far in between rides versus a full filter cleaning which makes pre/post ride maintenance with the filter about as easy as possible. Not to the point you asked but man I disliked having anything to do with the stock airbox and couldn't be more pleased with the RW solution.
