For the rear I am currently using an ed 78 I think...Bridgestone, and more for warmer drier climate I guess. I like the Metz mx5 for loamy or sandy soil. I often use desert tires for 2 reasons...west oz is hot and dry most of the time. She's a big girl that eats rear tires! I also have a maxis desert, a mich mx5' and a couple of others in the pile to try.motoz etc....
Up front I currently have a Pirelli mx did hard. But I think I prefer the Bridgestone battle cross.
Like most things, tires are a bit of a compromise...I only want a tire that is good in the wet, in the dry, on rocks, gravel, tar, mud, never gets a flat and lasts 100k miles. Not to much to ask is it!
